The Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce in association with Arnold Bloch Leibler were delighted to host Yaacov Michlin, Founder & CEO, Yissum.
Yissum is the technology transfer company of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. It is responsible for marketing the inventions and know-how generated by the University's renowned researchers and students. The University’s range of intellectual property includes inventions and know-how in many fields, including nanotechnology, medicine and pharmaceuticals, agriculture and nutrition, water and environmental technologies, computer science, homeland security, and more.
Mr. Michlin has been the Chief Executive Officer and President at Yissum Research Development Company of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Ltd. since 2009.
Mr. Michlin joined Yissum in 2009 and has been leading and assisting pharmaceutical, hi-tech and biomedical companies (including Teva, Bioline, CBI and Brainsway) in various technology commercialisation deals, licensing agreements, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and joint venture collaborations.
Mr. Michlin was involved in the foundation and strategic guidance of a few companies and ventures.
