Katharine Tapley has over 20 years’ experience in law, corporate finance, and banking in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. At ANZ she is playing a key role in developing green/social/sustainability bond markets in Australia, New Zealand and Asia and has worked on debut green and sustainability bond issuances for domestic and offshore issuers.

Kobad Bhavnagri

Kobad Bhavnagri leads a team of analysts focused on the Australian market and has personally authored over 100 publications spanning energy policy, economics, finance and technology. He has worked in the energy and finance industries since 2003 as an engineer, management consultant, and analyst.

Kane Thornton has more than a decade's experience in energy policy and leadership in the development of the renewable energy industry. His previous roles include senior manager and adviser for Hydro Tasmania and executive officer of Renewable Energy Generators Australia, and he is Deputy Chair of Sustainability Victoria.

Emma Herd has worked in climate change, sustainability, public policy, and finance for 20 years. She spent 15 years at Westpac Banking Corporation in carbon finance and emissions trading, ESG risk assessment, public policy and advocacy, sustainability strategy development, and corporate affairs. She is a Non-Executive Director of the Carbon Market Institute and a member of the Queensland Climate Change Advisory Council.

Maria Cahir

Maria is the Business Development Manager in the Utility sector and will bring a wealth of expertise and experience to the event both with Tesla and prior to that in the Utility scale PV sector with Trina and BP Solar over the last decade.   Maria led the Tesla Neoen 100MWE battery development in South Australia which is an area of great interest currently.
