The Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce in association with Swaab Attorneys were delighted to host a boardroom breakfast with Dafna Lifshitz, where she talked about her vision of equality in the Start-up Nation, and how social activism in Israel can be duplicated in Australia.

Under Dafna’s leadership, Appleseeds has impacted nearly 1,000,000 Israelis through the Net@ Youth Technology Program, FIXIT Community Computer Repair Labs, Code Blue, UpWomen, and Sila Bedouin Tech-Empowerment Program. An attorney by profession, Dafna has been recognized for her contribution: in 2014 she won Israel’s Prime Minister’s Prize for Innovation, in 2012 she was selected by the Ha’aretz daily as Israel’s 100 most influential people, and received the 2012 World of Difference Award- sponsored by the International Alliance for Women (TIAW).
