Designing & Driving Transformation: Lessons from Silicon Valley and Beyond

21 August 2018

The Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce, supported by KPMG and Forcepoint, was delighted to host a boardroom lunch on 21 August 2018 with Professor Genevieve Bell, Director of the 3A Institute, Florence Violet McKenzie Chair and Distinguished Professor at the Australian National University, and a Vice President and Senior Fellow at Intel.

In her presentation, Professor Bell, a world leading futurist and cultural anthropologist, drew on nearly two decades of experience working in Silicon Valley.

Once described as having “the soul of a philosopher, the data sensibility of a scientist and the likeability of a talk show host,” Professor Bell discussed the emerging constellation of AI, autonomous and semi-autonomous machinery, big data, IoT and the role of technology in building our future.
