2022

I attended the Technology and Innovation mission with Robyn Denholm and Jillian Segal in late 2022. It was an incredible experience. The level of innovation in Israel is jaw-dropping. We met with cyber, AI, renewable energy, Additive Manufacturing and VC companies. It helped me “see the future” as well as figure out the present day!

Israel had been a must do for a long time for me. Not only for the Cultural and Educational aspect but for the experience and knowledge that would be gained around their culture and history of creativeness.  I was not disappointed, the backgrounding of history and beliefs from ancient time to recent was covered by a range of experts in a most enjoyable way.
The company visits were extensive and covered many large international and local companies briefing us on emerging technologies and emerging research and development strategies.
Additional companies of specific interest to myself were organised.

Go visit the “Start-up Nation”.

“In late 2022, I had the privilege of attending the Technology and Innovation trade mission led by Robyn Denholm and Jillian Segal.  It was an opportunity to learn about Israeli culture and history as well as Israel, the innovative nation.  The range of perspectives enabled a more nuanced understanding of what Israel offers the world commercially.  These perspectives ranged from government advisors, private equity leaders, community leaders, start ups to established business leaders and the willingness to be frank about the challenges and the opportunities made the conversations meaningful and thoughtful provoking.  In all, it provided a glimpse into the future anchored in technology.”
